Mankato Area Public Schools (MAPS) distinguishes itself with early educational offerings, robust programming through the Community Education Department and it’s neighborhood school design.
Early Learning (Pre-K)
Early Childhood Family Education is a MN State funded educational program for families with children from birth to 5 (not yet in kindergarten). The mission of Early Childhood Family Education is to strengthen families through the education and support of all parents and to help parents provide the best possible environment for the healthy growth and development of their children.
Community Education
Mankato Community Education supports the educational, social and recreational needs of the community by serving children ages birth to five, youth and adults throughout the Mankato Area Public Schools communities. Assuring learning excellence and readiness for a changing world by providing programming to reach all, teach all, and include all.
